Tanzania only requires proof of yellow fever vaccination if you are arriving from, or have transited through, a country with a risk of yellow fever transmission.
Travellers aged one year and over arriving from a yellow fever risk country — most of sub-Saharan Africa and parts of South America — must show a valid International Certificate of Vaccination. The certificate is valid for life and must be issued at least ten days before arrival.
Airside transit of more than twelve hours through a risk country (for example Nairobi, Addis Ababa or Lagos) can trigger the requirement. Direct arrivals from Europe, North America, the Gulf, Asia and Australia normally do not need a certificate.
